Nerve tests could spot transplant complication early

NCT ID NCT07374874

First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether tests of the autonomic nervous system (which controls things like heart rate and goosebumps) can help predict a serious complication called graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) after a stem cell transplant. About 60 patients will have nerve function tests before and after transplant. The goal is to find early warning signs, not to test a new treatment.
