Targeted nerve blocks aim to ease Kids' pain after tonsil surgery

NCT ID NCT07379866

Summary

This study is testing whether using ultrasound to guide numbing injections (nerve blocks) near specific nerves in the throat can better control pain after tonsil removal surgery in children. It will compare this new approach to the standard pain medication given during surgery. The goal is to see if the nerve blocks reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers after the operation.
