Nerve block study aims to ease agony of broken ribs, shorten hospital stays

NCT ID NCT05642026

Summary

This study is testing whether a continuous nerve block can help adults with multiple broken ribs. Researchers will compare the nerve block plus standard pain pills to pain pills alone. They want to see if the nerve block reduces pain, improves breathing, and helps patients leave the hospital sooner.
