New nerve block technique aims to ease kids' pain after tonsillectomy

Summary

This study compares two types of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to standard pain medicine for children aged 5 to 13 having their tonsils removed. The goal is to see if these blocks can delay the need for extra painkillers and improve recovery. Forty children will take part, and the study is currently recruiting.
