New approach to knee surgery recovery aims to tame inflammation
NCT ID NCT07367009
Summary
This study aims to see if a specific combination of two nerve blocks, given for pain relief after knee replacement surgery, can also help reduce the body's inflammatory response. Researchers will observe 60 patients to measure markers of inflammation in the blood, alongside tracking pain levels and recovery. The goal is to understand if better pain control leads to less inflammation and a smoother healing process.
