Do shoulder surgery nerve blocks affect your Brain's oxygen?
NCT ID NCT07398352
Summary
This study aims to understand how two different nerve-numbing techniques for shoulder surgery affect oxygen levels in the brain and the width of a major neck artery. Researchers will compare a standard nerve block to a combination of two blocks in 70 patients. They will use non-invasive monitors to measure brain oxygen and artery size to see if one method is safer or better.
