NCT ID NCT07001657

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at 118 women having breast cancer surgery to see which of two nerve blocks—PECS II or SPSIP—works better for pain relief. The main goal was to measure how much opioid pain medicine they needed in the first 24 hours after surgery. The researchers also checked pain scores, how fast the block was done, and recovery quality. The results help doctors choose the best way to manage pain after breast cancer surgery.
