Targeted shot aims to ease debilitating shoulder pain for stroke survivors

NCT ID NCT07302711

Summary

This study is testing if a specific type of nerve block can help reduce shoulder pain and improve movement for people who have had a stroke. The nerve block, which uses ultrasound guidance to target pain signals around the shoulder joint, will be given alongside standard physical therapy. Researchers will measure changes in pain levels, arm function, and quality of life to see if the combined approach is more effective than therapy alone.
