New injection offers hope for debilitating shingles pain

NCT ID NCT07256145

Summary

This study is testing if a targeted injection called an erector spinae plane block works better than standard pain medications for people with long-term nerve pain after shingles. Researchers will compare pain relief, patient satisfaction, and side effects between the two approaches. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage this difficult chronic pain condition.
