New drug trial aims to heal diabetic foot wounds
NCT ID NCT07391319
Summary
This study is testing if a drug called Neovasculgen, given as injections, can help heal foot ulcers in people with diabetes. It will compare the drug against a placebo (inactive substance) in 144 patients who have a non-healing ulcer. The main goal is to see if more patients achieve complete wound healing over about 6 months when the drug is added to their standard care.
