First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at two different facemasks (round and triangular) used to help newborn babies breathe. Researchers want to see which mask leaks less air when held with two hands. About 50 babies in the neonatal unit who need breathing support will take part. The goal is to find out which mask works better so doctors can make the best choice for each baby.
