New gadget aims to zap brace bacteria

Summary

This study is testing a reusable, battery-powered device called NeoPill to see if it can reduce bacteria in the mouth for people wearing braces. About 15-20 adults with fixed braces will use the device for 30 seconds during a single visit. Researchers will measure bacteria levels before and after use and ask participants about their experience with the device.
