Could a new pill boost stroke recovery? phase 2 trial underway

Summary
This study tests whether the drug neflamapimod can improve physical and mental recovery after a moderate to severe stroke. About 90 adults aged 45 and older who had a stroke 2 to 7 days before joining will receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in movement, balance, and daily function to see if the drug helps recovery.
