Can a longer treatment keep kidney disease in remission?
NCT ID NCT07604311
First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether taking Nefecon for 15 months can prevent proteinuria (protein in urine) from returning in people with IgA nephropathy who have already responded to treatment. About 288 adults who have completed 9 months of Nefecon and have low protein levels will be randomly assigned to continue Nefecon or a placebo. The goal is to see if longer treatment helps maintain kidney health and avoid relapses.
