Summary
This study tested whether a gel made from the natural neem plant works as well as a standard steroid medication for treating oral lichen planus, a chronic inflammatory mouth condition. Sixty adults with the condition applied either neem gel or the steroid paste twice daily for three months. Researchers compared how well each treatment reduced symptoms like burning sensation and lesion severity during monthly checkups.
