No-Needle dental numbing: a game changer for Needle-Phobic patients?
NCT ID NCT07498621
First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether a needle-free jet injection device could be a less painful alternative to traditional syringes for numbing the mouth before a simple tooth extraction. Ten adults received both methods on opposite sides of their mouth, and their pain levels were compared. The goal was to see if the needle-free approach could reduce anxiety and improve comfort during dental procedures.
