No more needles? study tests painless dental numbing machine
NCT ID NCT06874244
Summary
This study tested a needle-free machine that uses a gentle electrical current to numb teeth, comparing it to the standard needle and syringe method. Twenty adult dental patients tried both methods to see which caused less pain and anxiety. The goal was to find a more comfortable way to deliver local anesthesia for dental procedures.
