No-Needle dental shots tested to ease Kids' fear at the dentist
NCT ID NCT06576609
Summary
This study tested whether a needle-free injection system (INJEX) causes less pain and leads to better behavior in children during dental fillings compared to traditional needle syringes. 50 children aged 7-10 years had one cavity treated with the needle-free system and another with the traditional needle, allowing for a direct comparison. Researchers measured pain levels, child behavior, and how long it took to give the anesthesia with each method.
