Scraping vs. suction: the battle for neck pain relief
NCT ID NCT07260019
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two physical therapy add-ons works better for easing chronic neck pain caused by muscle knots. Researchers will compare a scraping technique (IASTM) and a suction technique (dry cupping) when added to standard heat, electrical stimulation, and exercises. About 75 adults with long-term neck pain will receive treatments three times a week for four weeks to see which method best reduces pain, improves neck movement, and lessens disability.
