New study pits Hands-On therapy against Tool-Assisted treatment for neck pain relief

NCT ID NCT07489014

Summary

This study aims to see which of two physical therapy techniques works better for people with long-term neck pain. It will compare Mulligan joint mobilization, a hands-on manual therapy, with instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (AYDM). Forty adults with neck pain lasting at least three months will receive 12 treatment sessions over four weeks, and researchers will measure their pain, neck movement, and daily function before and after.
