First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests a method to identify which people with neck pain are most likely to benefit from a specific hands-on treatment called cervical spine manipulation. Researchers will enroll 160 adults with neck pain across 9 sites. Participants will receive either manipulation or a gentle touch treatment, followed by exercise, and their progress will be tracked for 6 months. The goal is to see if the prediction method helps match patients to the most effective therapy, leading to faster recovery.
