Neck pain relief: Hands-On therapy vs. strength training

NCT ID NCT06960525

Summary

This study compared two common physical therapy treatments for chronic neck pain: hands-on joint mobilization and muscle-strengthening exercises. Researchers wanted to see which method was better at improving the neck's sense of position, reducing pain, and increasing movement. Twenty-six adults with neck pain lasting over three months received one of the two treatments for 12 sessions.
