Hands-On therapies put to the test for stiff, aching necks
NCT ID NCT07331571
Summary
This study tested two different hands-on physical therapy techniques for people with long-term neck pain that has no specific cause. It involved 44 adults who used computers daily and had neck pain for at least 3 months. Researchers compared myofascial release therapy alone to the same therapy combined with a muscle energy technique, measuring pain levels, neck function, and range of motion over 6 weeks.
