Summary
This study aimed to understand the connection between oxygen levels in neck muscles and physical function in people with long-term neck pain. Researchers measured oxygen in the trapezius muscle and tested arm strength, breathing, and daily activity performance in 51 participants. The goal was to gather knowledge about how neck pain affects the body, not to test a new treatment.
