Scientists scan neck muscles to unlock mystery of chronic pain
NCT ID NCT06595927
Summary
This study aimed to understand how neck muscles work differently in people with chronic neck pain compared to those without pain. Researchers used MRI scans and motion sensors to measure muscle activity and head movement while participants performed simple neck exercises. The goal was to gather knowledge that could help improve future treatments, but this study did not test any new treatments itself.
