Scientists probe why aching necks lose their way
NCT ID NCT07321119
Summary
This study aims to understand the connection between deep neck muscle fatigue and a person's ability to sense their head position (proprioception) in people with chronic neck and arm pain from a pinched nerve (cervical radiculopathy). Researchers will measure 80 participants' neck muscle endurance and their accuracy in repositioning their head to see how these two functions are related. The goal is to gather knowledge that could inform better physical therapy exercises in the future.
