Neck pain study seeks link between muscle stamina and sense of position

NCT ID NCT07321119

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how long neck muscles can hold a contraction (endurance) and how well people can sense the position of their head (proprioception) in those with cervical radiculopathy, a pinched nerve in the neck. Researchers will measure these two abilities in 80 adults aged 20-60 to see if they are related. The goal is to understand the connection better, which could help improve rehabilitation exercises for neck pain.
