Hands-On healing: which stretch technique eases neck pain best?
NCT ID NCT07328256
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two specific hands-on physical therapy techniques works better for easing chronic neck pain. Researchers will compare 'Post-Isometric Relaxation' (PIR) and 'Post-Isometric Stretching' (PIS) in 40 young adults with neck pain lasting 4 to 12 weeks. All participants will first receive standard heat and electrical stimulation therapy, then be randomly assigned to receive one of the two stretching techniques over five sessions to see which provides better pain relief and movement improvement.
