First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests two gentle muscle techniques—post-isometric relaxation and post-isometric stretching—to see which better reduces chronic neck pain and improves movement. About 40 adults with neck pain for 4-12 weeks will receive either technique along with standard heat and electrical stimulation over five sessions. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to ease pain and disability.
