First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested two different hands-on treatments for people with mechanical neck pain and forward head posture. Forty-five adults aged 20-60 were split into three groups: one received upper cervical mobilization, another received a muscle energy technique, and a control group got standard physical therapy only. All treatments were done three times a week for four weeks. The goal was to see which approach best reduced pain, improved neck movement, and corrected posture.
