First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 10, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study aims to understand if there is a connection between chronic neck pain and the thickness of a major jaw muscle. Researchers will use a simple, non-invasive ultrasound to measure the masseter muscle in 90 adults with and without neck pain. The goal is to gather knowledge about how pain in one area of the body might relate to changes in another, which could inform future treatments.
