Neck pain relief: does adding a numbing drug to steroid injections help more?

NCT ID NCT07263672

Summary

This study looked at whether adding a local anesthetic (numbing drug) to a standard steroid injection provides better or longer-lasting relief for chronic neck pain caused by a herniated disc. Researchers followed 60 patients for six months, comparing pain and disability scores between the two groups. The goal was to see if one injection mixture was more effective at easing symptoms.
