Doctors test if numbing medicine boosts pain shot power for slipped discs
NCT ID NCT07397286
Summary
This study is testing two ways to give pain-relief injections for neck and arm pain caused by a slipped disc in the neck. One group gets a standard steroid injection combined with a special nerve treatment. The other group gets the same treatment but with an added numbing medicine (local anesthetic). Researchers will follow 100 patients for 6 months to see which method provides better and longer-lasting pain relief.
