New exercise combo targets deep neck muscles for pain relief
NCT ID NCT07179133
Summary
This study aims to see if adding a specific strengthening exercise for a deep neck muscle (the semispinalis cervicis) to a standard neck training program works better for reducing chronic neck pain. It will involve 42 adults with long-term neck pain, who will do exercises three times a week for four weeks. Researchers will measure changes in pain, neck movement, strength, and daily function to compare the two approaches.
