New needle therapy shows promise for stubborn neck pain

Summary
This study tests two different strengths of a needle treatment called percutaneous electrolysis for people with chronic neck pain caused by muscle knots. Forty adults will receive either a low or high intensity version of the treatment three times over two weeks, plus stretching exercises at home. The goal is to see which dose works better for reducing pain and tenderness.
