Can understanding pain itself help ease chronic neck pain?
NCT ID NCT06320938
Summary
This study compared three different non-drug approaches to help people with long-term neck pain. 60 adults with chronic neck pain were randomly assigned to receive either: 1) education about how pain works in the nervous system plus home exercises, 2) a hands-on soft tissue therapy plus home exercises, or 3) just a home exercise program. Researchers measured pain levels, quality of life, and neck function right after treatment and again six months later to see which approach worked best.
