Warm massage device tested to fix 'Turtle Neck' posture

NCT ID NCT05469295

Summary

This study tested a medical device that combines heat, vibration, and gentle traction to see if it could improve the natural curve of the neck and reduce chronic pain in people with a condition called cervical kyphosis, often known as 'turtle neck.' Thirty adults with long-term neck pain were randomly assigned to use either the real device or a sham (fake) version to compare results. The main goal was to measure temporary changes in neck alignment and check the device's safety.
