New drug trial offers hope for advanced stomach cancer patients Who've run out of options

NCT ID NCT07379047

Summary

This study is testing an experimental drug called NB003 for people with advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) that have stopped responding to standard medications. The trial has two parts: one compares NB003 against an existing drug for patients who need third-line treatment, and another tests NB003 alone for those who need second-line treatment. Researchers want to see if NB003 can better control tumor growth and is safe for patients who have limited treatment options left.
