Guiding hands for hungry families: can a navigator ease food insecurity for new moms?

NCT ID NCT06859372

Summary

This study is testing whether a 'Family Navigator' can help low-income, postpartum women get the resources they need to improve food security for themselves and their babies. Over six months, a navigator works one-on-one with mothers to connect them to community services for food, health, and learning. Researchers are comparing this intensive support to just receiving an educational workbook to see which approach is better at reducing food insecurity.
