New drug combo aims to stop chemo sickness

NCT ID NCT07482891

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two anti-nausea drugs (fosrolapitant and palonosetron) can prevent vomiting and nausea in people receiving strong, multi-day chemotherapy for cancer. It will involve 200 adults with solid tumors who are about to start their first round of this type of treatment. The main goal is to see how well the drug combination controls these difficult side effects throughout the entire chemotherapy cycle.
