First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether nature-based activities, like walking barefoot on grass and playing outdoor games, can improve the parent-child relationship and help children manage their emotions. 100 low-income families took part, with half experiencing nature activities and the other half doing nothing special. The goal was to see if connecting with nature can make families closer and kids happier.
