New combo attack on throat cancer: trial tests three drug cocktails

Summary

This study aims to find the best initial chemotherapy combination to use with an immunotherapy drug (Toripalimab) for people with locally advanced nasopharyngeal cancer (a type of throat cancer). It will enroll 243 participants to compare three different drug combinations, all followed by standard radiation and chemotherapy. The goal is to see which combination helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
