Cancer treatment crossroads: which path works better when first drugs fail?
NCT ID NCT07399158
Summary
This study aims to find out which treatment approach works better for patients with advanced nasopharyngeal cancer when their initial chemotherapy doesn't shrink the tumor enough. Researchers will observe 223 patients who receive either additional chemotherapy followed by radiation, or radiation treatment alone. The main goal is to see which approach keeps the cancer from growing or spreading for longer.
