New pill aims to fight dangerous liver fat buildup
NCT ID NCT03468556
Summary
This study is testing whether a new oral medication called SNP-610 can help people with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a serious form of fatty liver disease. About 80 participants in Taiwan will take either the drug or a placebo pill daily for 3 months to see if it reduces liver inflammation and fat. Researchers will measure changes in key liver health markers to determine if the treatment is safe and effective.
