Sniff instead of stab? new nasal spray could replace allergy injection pens
NCT ID NCT07228325
Summary
This study is testing whether a new epinephrine nasal spray works similarly to EpiPen injections for treating severe allergic reactions. Researchers are comparing how quickly and effectively both treatments enter the bloodstream in 50 adults with allergy histories. The goal is to see if the nasal spray could provide an easier-to-use alternative to injections during emergencies.
