Kids' allergy relief: could using nasal spray only when needed work just as well?

NCT ID NCT05299086

Summary

This study tested whether children with year-round allergies could use a common nasal spray only when their symptoms flare up, instead of taking it every day. It involved 68 children and compared the two approaches over 8 weeks to see if 'as-needed' use was just as effective for symptom control and quality of life. The goal was to find a treatment plan that works well while potentially reducing side effects from long-term daily use.
