Sniff away stage fright? nasal spray tested for social anxiety

Summary

This study is testing whether a nasal spray called fasedienol can quickly reduce anxiety symptoms when adults with social anxiety disorder face a public speaking challenge. About 60 participants will receive either the spray or a placebo to see if it helps them feel less distressed. The goal is to find a fast-acting, on-demand treatment for acute social anxiety episodes.
