Sniff away stage fright? nasal spray tested for social anxiety
NCT ID NCT05011396
Summary
This study tested a nasal spray called PH94B to see if it could quickly reduce anxiety in adults with social anxiety disorder during a public speaking challenge. 228 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the spray or a placebo before giving a short speech, and their anxiety levels were measured. The goal was to see if the spray provided fast, on-demand relief for anxiety triggered by social situations.
