Summary
This study tested whether a nasal spray called PH94B could provide quick relief from anxiety triggered by public speaking in adults diagnosed with social anxiety disorder. In the trial, 224 participants used the spray and then performed a short speech while researchers measured their anxiety levels. The goal was to see if the spray was safe and more effective than a placebo spray at reducing acute anxiety symptoms in a controlled, stressful situation.
