First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested a single dose of a nasal spray (ARS-1) to see if it can quickly reduce itching and hives in adults who have frequent flare-ups. Twenty-one participants received either the spray or a placebo, then crossed over to the other option. The main goal was to measure how fast and how long the spray worked based on patient-reported itch and hive scores.
